Illumination and Education

Smart Schools: Local schools and Anganwadis were upgraded with solar panels, projectors, and BaLA paintings, creating an uninterrupted, interactive learning environment.
Solar Safety: For the first time, solar street lamps were installed, providing safe passage through previously unlit roads.

Empowerment and Health

Focusing on social dignity, the initiative strengthened the village’s core:

  • Economic Independence: The SBI Prerna Center trains Gagode’s women in tailoring, turning them into confident entrepreneurs.
  • Water Security: An RO plant now provides pure drinking water, while village wells were desilted and covered to increase storage and hygiene.
  • Community Hub: The Acharya Vinoba Bhave Prerna Hall serves as a central office for Self-Help Groups and an E-Seva center for digital services.

A Future of Dignity

Today, Gagode Budruk and the tribal hamlet of Vinoba Nagar stand as models of resilience. By blending modern technology with Vinoba Bhave’s vision of equality, the project has ensured that this historic village is defined by its vibrant present and a self-sufficient future.
